• Gynaecology and Andrology

  We offer kits for the quantitative determination of hormones involved in the male and female reproductive systems and in vitro fertilisation (IVF).   ELISA kits with excellent correlation to HPLC, and protocols available for automation, are available for Adrenalin, Noradrenaline and Dopamine.

  Kits are also available for the measurement of catecholamines Metanephrine and Nometanephrine in urine samples for the diagnosis and follow-up of tumors of the nervous system such as pheochromocytoma, neuroblastoma and ganglioneuroma.

  Adipose tissue is an active endocrinological organ whose hormones influence and control food intake and utilization in a variety of ways. Saliva has been used for many years as a biological fluid for the detection of different biomarkers such as electrolytes, hormones, drugs and antibodies. It offers advantages for clinicians, patients and researchers in terms of convenience and it is non-invasive and painless to collect.

Steroid hormone assessment from saliva allows the specific determination of the biologically active or “free” fraction of target hormones.
