Ordering Process

If you would like to place an order with Oxford BioSystems, please contact our customer service team at sales@oxfordbiosystems.com. Our team will provide you with a PDF copy of the quotation, and if you're happy to proceed, we would require a purchase order. Please provide a contact name and e-mail, product code and description if possible, and the required quantity.

If you are a new customer, we would request that you complete a new customer form to ensure we have all the details we need to process your order, which will be provided by our customer services team. Please note that new customer orders will be raised as a proforma, which will require upfront payment before the goods are released. Any future orders after this will be subject to our normal payment conditions. See terms and conditions.

Once an order is placed, we will provide you with a sales order confirmation with a unique order number. We will give an expected time scale for your order to arrive and will keep you informed of any unexpected delays or items on back order. If you require updates, please let us know when placing the order and we can ensure this is e-mailed to you once the order has been shipped. Please direct your requests to sales@oxfordbiosystems.com.

If you need to make changes to or cancel an order, the earlier we are notified, the more likely we are to be able to make changes. Please note that if an order has already been shipped, it may not be possible to cancel or change. Please provide your PO or sales order number to sales@oxfordbiosystems.com and we will try our best to be as accommodating as possible.

Delivery

We ship only to addresses within the UK and Ireland. UK delivery charge is from £30, while Ireland shipments are charged from 80 EUR (£70). Any instruments purchased will be quoted depending on size and weight.

Yes, our products will be shipped based on their temperature requirements to ensure they are delivered in good condition.

While we do hold items in stock, some products would need to be ordered from the manufacturer. Stock items can be shipped, if an order is received before 11am, the same day on a 24hr delivery for UK, or between 24hrs and 48hrs for Ireland and remote locations in Scotland. Please note however, we do not ship on Fridays.

Any items that require an order to one of our suppliers will be communicated when the order has been processed, and the supplier confirms current availability. We can also provide you with an estimated delivery time on request, please contact sales@oxfordbiosystems.com for any questions you might have.

Once your order has been shipped, we will send you an e-mail notification confirming the shipment with a tracking link so you can keep updated on your orders progress.

Aftercare

In the unlikely event you have received the incorrect items, please contact our customer services team at sales@oxfordbiosystems.com within 10 days of receiving the shipment, and we'll be happy to correct and replace your item.

If your order has arrived damaged, we would ask that you contact us within a maximum of 10 days to report the issue. If you have not received your order, please contact us within 2 days of receiving the tracking information so this can be investigated.

Yes, in most cases we can provide the certificate of analysis for your product. If this is something you require, please let us know when placing the order and can ensure this is e-mailed to you once the order has been shipped. Alternatively, please contact the customer services team at sales@oxfordbiosystems.com, who will be able to request this from the supplier.

Oxford BioSystems offers a range of technical support options including service contracts, maintenance visits, product training, and over the phone support. Technical Support is available Monday - Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm, excluding bank holidays.
