Oxford Biosystems Cadama (OBC) are proud to represent internationally recognised manufacturers of diagnostic kits and reagents for biochemistry. Within Endocrinology we have a range of products such as: Chemerin, GLP-1and GLP-total, insulin, Retinol Binding Protein, α-2-Macroglobulin, Fetuin A, pro-Insulin, and Leptin.
The Skeletal System range includes well established assays such as N-Telopeptides (NTx), PINP and PIIINP. Oxidative Stress represents an imbalance between the production and manifestation of reactive oxygen species and a biological system's ability to readily detoxify the reactive intermediates or to repair the resulting damage. Oxidative stress is involved in many diseases as well being important in prevention of aging. Among the many assays that Oxford Biosystems have available are enzymes that have antioxidant properties such as glutathione-S transferases and Asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA) is an endogenous inhibitor of NO synthesis. A new product recently available is MDA oxLDL.

Gastroenterology also covers intestine disorders, and obesity and nutrition and includes such assays as Ghrelin, α-1-Antitrypsin, β-Defensin, C-reactive Protein (CRP), Calprotectin, Chymotrypsin, Myeloperoxidase (MPO), PMN-Elastase, and secretory immunoglobulin A.
