John Coombes
Chairman
I began Oxford Biosystems Ltd in 2001 after more than 25 years experience in the clinical diagnostics business. My main companies during that period were Syva Diagnostics, Monoclonal Antibodies, and Metra Biosystems. From 1984 until I left corporate life I held the position of Vice President International or Vice President Sales & Marketing. |
Mark Upton
Managing Director
My commercial career started at the age of 10 with my first business selling pre strung conkers to class mates. After moving into the world of science I obtained further sales and marketing experience in both UK and international diagnostic markets, leading to the formation of Cadama Medical Limited in 2002 and the subsequent merger with Oxford Biosystems in 2009.
|
Fiona Alcock
Marketing Director
As a medical technologist I spent 5 years working in clinical virology and serology laboratories before moving into commerce. After 20 years in international sales and marketing in the fields of immunology and infectious diseases I joined Oxford Biosystems in 2010. |
Helen Church
Director – Logistics and Customer Services
I have been here at Oxford Biosystems since the beginning. In between playing the euphonium, avoiding the ironing and raising 2 teenage boys and a cat, I find time to ensure that we maintain a consistently high level of customer service.
|
Lynn Green
Customer Services
I joined Oxford Biosystems in 2005 on a part time basis and as the company has grown I now work four days a week in the Customer Services Department. I love talking to people so my role of taking your orders and following up enquiries is great!
|
Victoria Munro
Sales & Marketing
After gaining my doctorate in molecular microbiology, I have worked in the medical diagnostic industry in technical, customer service, sales and marketing roles for the past 7 years. Having recently joined Oxford Biosystems I provide UK sales and marketing support for the Infectious Diseases and Immunology product ranges.
|
Rob Coombes
E-Marketing
I studied Physics and Astronomy at Cardiff University getting my degree in 1993. I then worked for EMI music for 15 years before joining Oxford Biosystems in 2008.
I maintain our website, along with searchable product database. I aim to make information available on current assays and reagents, providing literature for download.
|
David McGough
Sales Executive
Being a shy and retiring type of person I try to avoid publicity, however I have been around for many years, accumulating knowledge and experience in both UK and international diagnostic markets across a wide range of products. |
